PRIMEL GASTRONOMIE :


Plabennec site

1989: creation of the “Compagnie Artique” firm, manufacturing Frozen Ready Cooked Scallops in their shells.
1993: buyout of the company by the SILL group.
2002: absorption of the HERRY gastronomie business (Landivisiau - 29) specialized in the manufacture of frozen ready meals.

Plougasnou site

Up till 1986: the frozen food business was part of PRIMEL SA specializing in the retail of fresh and frozen seafood. At this time it manufactured fish based ready meals with potato garnishes.
1986: taken over by SCOA (subsidiary of Paribas)
1989: transfer by SCOA to the Hubsch Alimentaire holding
1995: PRIMEL SA became part of the SILL Entreprises group under the “Primel Gastronomie SAS” entity.
2001: Primel Gastronomie bought out Dragon d’or (Ars) specializing in the preparation of fresh and frozen ethnic dishes.
1st November 2006: merger of the two entities: Primel Gastronomie absorbed “La Compagnie Artique”. Centralization of the administrative services, R&D, trade, logistics and purchases.
